A while back my house was struck by lightning, mysteriously killing 2 of our 3 direct tv recievers, my dsl modem, and my router. We got a the modem and the recievers replaced for free but at the time I didn't know the router was fried. Well, yesterday I finally broke down to buy a new one. I got it home and was glad to find that it worked. My problem is that it doesn't work well. I've been trying to talk to Jenny all damn night and the thing keeps kicking me off. I believe its more to do with our DSL service than the router though. I'd like to shoot my fucking ISP right now. Damn intrawebz.

So, yeah, new to this whole LJ thing. No one will probably ever read this and after about 3 weeks I'll probably forget I made an LJ account and will no longer be able to complain about how my friends pushed me into this. I'm just kidding, I love my friends. They're great.
